Isn’t the velvet texture of this dress from Celestial Cities gorgeous?! So is the bead trim of course but I get caught by the nummyness. I’m wearing one of the new watch necklaces from Cala (the large size). I have these irl, I love it. The realism is incredible. Finally, the skin is one of the new releases from Tete a Pied from their new sim Fleur, Rose 2. We have the beautiful bow lips and freckles.

Fleur is worth going to go see even if you don’t wear TaP. The build is unbelievable. And I want a machinima of Murder on the Orient Express, kay?

Playing with Windlight

Like most people on the grid I’ve been playing with the Windlight Firstlook. Now I can remember when it first came out and this looks much better than the previous release. Yes, I’m also still on the fanfic writing binge as well.

bossa nova freebie

Taking a break to do fun stuff. This dress was bossa nova’s group freebie with her latest release. And of course I had to show off Starley’s new Fall skins (which may be my favorite makeups of the Vogue line so far). You can barely see it but the necklace from Sub Rosa called Sweet Delight looks like something I own in real life. The hair is cotton candy by Sugar Cube. I’m not wild about lots of use of 2D prims to make hair. Strands usually end up sticking weirdly out of my chin for some reason. Tesla dropped these shoes on me, now I have never gotten into the pointy toed shoe fad (I know, shock), but these are pointed without looking like trying to go to needle points. They are supposed to be leather textures, but to be honest it didn’t look like leather texture to me (maybe it’s just this crazy computer I’m using). Despite that I really love the look of these shoes.

Sorry, I really didn’t mean to disappear like that, things just came up.

First up is Iris by Savvy? It’s an elegant, slightly tattered dress that you could only hope to find in an attic somewhere. I’m wearing one of the new hairs from Celestial Cities. I love the wavy look to the bangs.

Also up is PixelDolls Cimarron Set. Yet another freebie. Yeah, I know the lighting sucks. The exquisite necklace is by Caroline.
