See previous post for explanation of why I don’t blog much.
Starting with the hair frmo Dark Mouse, one of my last hair fair prizes. The suit is from Pink Outfitters. The pants and jacket are sold separately in a variety of matching colors. The texturing has a lot of nice detail. Under it is a cami from Aphrodite Creations. This color is a freebie but you’ll be seeing it again in other colors, it’s great for layering and comes on al layers. The necklace and earrings are from a sale at Atomic Cherry. Zaara made the bracelet, I love the texturing on this too. The shoes are another freebie, this one from Maitreya for joining the group.

That’s what second life is for me right now. I’ve doubled my computer’s memory, installed a new hard-drive, reinstalled the os from scratch and scrapped all second life files to reinstall SL from scratch scratch several times to try different viewers. No matter what, if I’m in world for too long, my entire computer crashes. After it boots back up, most of the time the internet doesn’t work so I have to reboot again. I’m pretty sure it’s overheating the hard-drive because I have to wait for it to cool down before I can login in again for more than a minute before it crashes all over again.
This has been going on for a couple of months, which is one of the biggest reasons why I’ve been so scarce lately. The weirdest thing is SL is the only program that does it.
This rant brought to you by the pain I went through to get the pics for the next post. The official client cuts the top (including the head) off all pictures so I had to install another viewer and wound up going through the whole reboot thing 2 or three times. Grrrr

I did a little happy dance when I saw that Nibb Tardis of primOptic had dropped some coupons for free glasses on me. They aren’t only well made but endlessly customizable with options for the color of both the frames and the glass as well as the transparency of the glass (btw 40% gets that look of actual glass in front of your eyes). There are also shiny and bling options and tons of “gadgets” or useful scripts like the one that lets you fly high.
It took a lot of agonizing to narrow down the possibilities but here are my final choices.
Celeste is just fun. It can be the flirty shades or the stereotypical librarian bookish glasses.
Lunie is soft and feminine. Perfect for sweeter looks.
Lynix are pure nerdery. And kind of cool that way.
Steam is for the next time I do steampunk.
Sofia may be my new regular style. I’m trying it for a while to see if I like it.

I’ve confessed my terrible preppy secret to you before so I won’t go into it again. This shirt from Naive punched that button and I was helpless to resist. I’m also wearing the Pixie hair from SLink and diamond studs from Fashion Oasis. It’s odd that with my extensive jewelry collection I didn’t have a pair before but they’re my first. I’m very happy with the texturing too.

Hey, it’s not a month late! Still going through my hair fair picks. This is a nice lose bun from Dark Mouse. Sam’s pants are from Aphrodite Creations, as are the shoes which I haven’t worn as much as I should have this summer. The cute pose was another blogger thank you gift from Cyanide.

While I was at Cherry (see previous post) I found these heels that I had to have. So then I had to put together an outfit for them 🙂 The dress is Anais from Pixeldolls. It comes in black too but I prefer the drama of the white version. The skin is yet another Audrey from 5th & Oxford, Smolder 6. It was my “if I only get one skin it has to be this one” makeup. Although have I mentioned how much I love the legs on this skin? I don’t usually obsess about my legs but this skin is just perfect for them. The hair is Paper Tiger from Curio. Like many of her styles, it comes with multiple variations.

First off, we have another Audrey skin from 5th & Oxford. There’s a lot of drama in the makeups released so far. The sweater is the Izzie Cardigan from Decoy. Which you already knew, it just took me forever to drop by and get. Hair is another hair fair find, this time from Bryce. The belt and adorable shoes are the Alice Cullen Flats from Cherry. I’m neither a bow nor an orange person but these couldn’t be denied.
