Sugar Cube’s Happy Life Generator

February 2, 2008 § 1 Comment

Amelia was busy while I was working with the RL job. Going through my old review copies, I found this one called the “Happy Life Generator” by Sugar Cube. The hair and accessories came with the dress.

Reel Expressions poses

I do seem to be on a pose kick lately. Reel Expressions released the Sex Sells V2 this week and Luth dropped a few of them on me. Click on the photos to go to a larger version.

Back to Fashion

Okay, now back to photos now that I have organizational obligations behind me. Yes, I’ve been told several times that this makes me look like Belle. That is one of my favorite movies so I take this as a compliment. This dress is from bossa nova and its proceeds go toward SHINE . SHINE is a seasonal Second Life fashion fundraiser for Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders.) Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing health care to those in need.

Back, I think….

RL has kept me so busy lately I barely know which end is up. And I have lost the Photo Credits that I had jotted down for this photo. From memory the dress if from Amaretto, hair Calla, hair jewelry is Eolande’s, and the skin is the new one from Blowpop. You can see more photos on the Flickr photostream. Snapshot_064

Luth Brodie’s Rockabilly Pose Set

October 3, 2007 § Leave a comment

After recently staring at runway pose set from various creators for the last several weeks when I first took a look at the Rockabilly Pose it was fun, funky and refreshing. I thought I had photos from the entire set, but apparently SL isn’t always saving my photos. So you only get to see about half the set.

bossa nova freebie

Taking a break to do fun stuff. This dress was bossa nova’s group freebie with her latest release. And of course I had to show off Starley’s new Fall skins (which may be my favorite makeups of the Vogue line so far). You can barely see it but the necklace from Sub Rosa called Sweet Delight looks like something I own in real life. The hair is cotton candy by Sugar Cube. I’m not wild about lots of use of 2D prims to make hair. Strands usually end up sticking weirdly out of my chin for some reason. Tesla dropped these shoes on me, now I have never gotten into the pointy toed shoe fad (I know, shock), but these are pointed without looking like trying to go to needle points. They are supposed to be leather textures, but to be honest it didn’t look like leather texture to me (maybe it’s just this crazy computer I’m using). Despite that I really love the look of these shoes. Snapshot_006 copy

Jewelry Expo 1

Like the dress? Lux Yao of Amaretto has this out in her booth at the Jewelry Expo as a freebie/dollarbie (I can’t remember if it is L$0 or L$1), but it’s more than worth that. And the pearl studs are from Sub Rosa which I found at the Jewelry Expo as well.Snapshot_104
